What's In My Bowl

         From my yesterday gloomy-rainy-morning, I woke up early realized that it had been raining outside. Thing I love the most is I already filled my fridge with fruits, oats, and almond mylk :P so it only took me 5 minutes to check my phone out then I go straight for having my breakfast.

     This bowl consist of:
-Muesli (dried fruits), it's 69% cereal flakes (wheat, oat, barley, rye), dried fruits and seeds 30% (banana, linseed, sunflower seeds, date pieces, apple pieces, cornflakes and etc. Bought from Superindo
-Cavendish Banana
-Kiwifruit
-Apple
-Havermout Biscuit (mung bean)
-Raw Almond Mylk, bought from Elixir (Oh I wish I could find almond easily here, I want to make homemade almond mylk ssssh because it's a little bit pricey hehe)

     Preparation:
-Pour 5/6 tablespoons muesli in a bowl
-Add fruits and almond mylk (skimmed-milk or plain yoghurt, your taste)

          The white-covered book is Monsoon Tiger and Other Stories by Rain Chudori, it tells the tale of loneliness and love (which I adore the most haha), contents eight subjects such as Smoking with God, Tamah Gajah, The Dollhouse, The Sancastle and so on. I got the first printing yayness!!!
So, these are my favorite combo... nice meal and book with great weather outside. Couldn't ask more.

           I got featured on local newspaper talking about my forecast for 2016 fashion trends, yaaaay! and thanks mba Nana for the interview :)

1. Beberapa desainer sudah memprediksi tren busana tahun depan, apa saja yang digarisbawahi dari tren tersebut menurut kamu?

-           Dari trend Spring/summer 2016 yang diprediksi beberapa desainer.. garis bawahnya adalah mixing antara gaya casual dengan sophisticated tailoring yang menghasilkan modern feel. Yaitu munculnya trend Romantic-victorian era dengan potongan kerah tinggi, sleek gown, penggunaan bahan seperti satin, lace dengan potongan ruffle; Androgyny dengan style blazer for woman seperti sculpted jacket & knee pants dengan paduan warna-warna mono-metallic; 70’s style yang menonjolkan sisi bohemian seperti sleeve top, embellished top, maxi skirt, pleated pants, flare pants dengan modern-touch (belahan di bagian depan), denim shirt dengan warna vintage-washed, strappy dress, anything with suede and fringe too.

2. Motif atau corak apa yang bakal populer?

-Shimmery/metallic motif, sequin, vintage-washed, eyelet-effect and loads of prints… maybe? :D

3. Atasan model apa yang bakal jadi tren?

-Untuk atasan, prediksi trend untuk tahun 2016 itu sculpted jacket, embellished top, corset top, off-shoulder top, statement item yang ringan & ngga ribet tapi bikin kita instantly look-stylish

4. Bawahan seperti apa yang akan diburu?

-Flare pants, knee length pants, maxi skirt  

5. Warna-warna apa yang akan mendominasi tren 2016?

-           Dominasi warna di tahun 2016 yaitu “Rose Quartz”  & “Serenity” yaaay for pastel lover, warna Rose Quartz itu delicate baby-pink seperti warna bunga dan pink-sunset, kalau Serenity jatuhnya ke biru muda. Keduanya adalah warna-warna natural yang bakal keliatan manis on everybody's skin tones plus keliatan sophisticated kalau di mix sama warna-warna putih, hitam dan gold yang bakalan masih jadi warna kekinian itu.

-Untuk warna lain aku kira adalah warna-warna yang merefleksikan hippie-boho tahun 70’an

6. Apakah Kiblat para pecinta fashion masih menyasar kalangan fashion blogger? Atau beralih ke selebritas dan model? (Sebut nama fashion blogger atau seleb/model)

-Menurut aku pribadi kiblat pecinta fashion masih dipegang sama kalangan blogger, entah itu street style blogger, lifestyle blogger, ataupun fashion blogger contohnya kaya Chiara Ferragni, Leandra Medine, Clara Devi, Diana Rikasari dan beberapa model yang off-duty stylenya emang oke kaya Kendall Jenner, Alexa Chung and so on.

7. Tas dan sepatu model apa yang bakal jadi tren? Apa alasannya?

-Tas: Mini-medium hand bag dengan loose straps, patch bag dengan warna-warna yang bright

-Sepatu: Embellished shoes, pointed-toe heels, gladiator sandals, sneaker, slipper atau flat-oxford shoes yang simple tapi elegan, dan ribbon-shoes

8. Sudahkah memprediksi tren aksesorisnya? Misalnya kemunculan choker necklace yang sempat booming di tahun 1990an.

-Mungkin gypsy inspired jewelries yang pas buat hippie look, metallic collar necklace atau choker necklace dengan sentuhan pendant.

9. Kiat-kiat tak mati gaya di 2016 (dengan koleksi yang sudah dimiliki)

-           Sebenernya kiat-kiat biar ngga mati gaya dari tahun ke tahun adalah be yourself, dengan adanya kemunculan berbagai trend, pick only what looks great on you… jadi ngga setiap ada fashion items baru langsung dipakai semua. Di tahun 2016 ini kan trendnya udah sempet ngehip sebelum ini yaah cuma di upgrade ke modern-look aja jadi untuk tips biar ngetrend dengan koleksi yang kita udah punya adalah merombaknya, kita bisa DIY (Do-It-Yourself)  kok. Contoh untuk sculpted jacket kita bisa ngerombak atasan blazer atau atasan bahan kita jadi lebih fit body, kalau kemaren udah punya celana kulot.. bisa dipotong tuh sampai dibagian knee biar punya fashion item baru yang sama kaya knee-length pants, masih inget sama vintage dress yang berkerah ketat itu? di trend 2016 ini bakal ada modern-looknya yang juga udah jadi look di setiap runway… Cutout dress, biar hemat kita bisa main gunting-gunting dikit di bagian pundak tanpa ngehilangin kerahnya.. jadi kaya off shoulder tanpa keliat terlalu terbuka. Yang lain, embellished top/patched top kita bisa pasang manik-manik di baju kita dengan pola tertentu atau beli emblem border dengan berbagai gambar trus dipasang menyebar di outfit kita. Foilaaaaa new items again :D

-           Oya, ada tips lain dari aku, kalau mau repot sedikit… jangan segan buat cari thrifting shop/flea market. Banyak outfit boho-vintage yang bisa kita dapet disana which is outfit yang bakal trend di tahun 2016 ini, atau kalian bisa tuh cari-cari baju vintage oma/mama yang bisa dirombak dikit hihihi.

You Rock Hard I Rock Steady

         Last friday I called my mom's driver to take me to the city that's never bore me.... Jogja. Because I've done with my to-do-list, I intented to take a break from all bustle of my business throughout the holidays. I NEED A REAL HOLIDAY FOR SURE :') so I think this place is going to be great. A long the way the driver telling me about his own travel-business, I amaze with his courage to start the business since his senior high school time. We chatted until arriving at the hotel btw *sleepy mode*
          The first thing I do: swimming.

          I posted that blurry photo on my instagram account with a deep deep quote from my muse, a novelist Sylvia Plath and feel so blue after all :(

          Then I took a scroll at Mirota Batik bought two handmade fabric necklaces also a cute batik outer outside (means around Malioboro). My phone couldn't stop vibrating, I set it on silent mode so noone will intterupt me buuuuut.... I need to check it and voilaaaa something need to be fixed. I found a restaurant to take a rest (and to fix something via phone) along my way back to the hotel but unluckily nothing catch my eyes but this, a Bakmi Jowo Mbah Mangun. I tried their "magelangan" and turn sooooo YUM!!!! I swear :'D this is real, only Rp 11.000 and I got my stomach full yaynessssss.

          The next morning I woke up at 5.30am to catch this view, the air was sooooo fresh and calming at the same time. I love this place, everything feels like "home". 

 

              Breakfast time, a classic place that I adore. The sunlight entering the room without me feeling it heats. Nice right? :)

            Lastly, I arrived home at 8 pm and feeling so tired after a training by phone in my way back home. My uncle came ask me to find an urgent flight to go somewhere too. And at 11 pm my aunt called ask me to go to grandmom house because she's fall from her bed :'(

         It really gave a lesson that nothing ever stay, when we feel really happy about a thing... all of sudden we could feeling really, really sad :')
